As mentioned yesterday, we’ve now received confirmation that Skilling Australians Fund Acts has received Royal Assent as of 22 May 2018 and will come into effect from a date fixed by:

  • Proclamation; or
  • On the day after six months from 22 May 2018 (Potentially being 23 November 2018).

Our industry body has now affirmed that the above is not retrospective and will only affect nomination applications lodged after the commencement date.
