NO CHANGES AS YET TO THE AGE ELIGIBILITY FOR WORKING HOLIDAY MAKERS

Whilst the media has prominently been advocating changes to the age eligibility for Working Holiday Visas, namely increasing the age limit from 30 to 35 – No such changes to legislation have come into effect.

The Australian Government is currently considering options for expanding the age eligibility and is discussing this and reciprocal arrangements for Australian citizens with partner countries.

As such, the current age limit of 18-30 remains in place for the time being.
